The château’s verrière is one of the most impressive parts of the restoration. Located 40 meters above the ground, it is one of the five highest in France. Restoring such an intricate piece of art was no easy task. The team worked with skill and attention to detail to bring it back to life. Today, the verrière shines brightly, allowing light to flood the interior and enhance the château’s beauty.

Restoring the roof has been a significant focus of the project. Preserving the roof of such a grand building is no easy task. The work has been ongoing for some time, but progress is steadily being made. Piece by piece, the team restores the roof, ensuring its historical integrity. Though the process is lengthy, results are beginning to show, bringing the roof back to life.

Martial, a skilled French roofer, leads this crucial project. With years of experience, he oversees the roof’s restoration at Château Challain. His expertise and attention to detail ensure the restoration is done correctly. Martial also supervises the restoration of the château’s commons, ensuring the entire structure receives the care it deserves.

Martial has also taken on the project of restoring and cleaning the château’s outside walls. Over time, weather and natural elements have caused discoloration and wear. Martial’s team carefully restores and cleans the walls, bringing them back to their original splendor. The goal is to make the château look brand new, with a gleaming exterior. Each stone and surface requires precision, ensuring the historical integrity remains intact. Thanks to Martial’s efforts, the château’s walls shine once again, enhancing its overall beauty.

Although progress has been significant, much work remains. Several parts of the château still need restoration, and more projects are in the planning stages. Areas like the grand staircase, gardens, and various rooms need attention. Every part of the château has a unique story, and preserving these stories for future generations is essential.
